HDR Employability Symposium 2024

Elevate your career potential

The Higher Degree Research (HDR) Employability Symposium is a one-day event run in T3 empowering research students to confidently control their career trajectory and help candidates to critically think about their current skills and goals. UNSW Employability is proud to host this event in collaboration with the Graduate Research School and industry partners to identify and equip our higher degree research students with skills that support their transition into the workplace after graduation - applicable for academia as well as industry careers.

Program details

The program will feature a range of opportunities to engage with industry and academic professionals throughout the day. Past programs have included a career planning workshop, discussions on job searching strategies, stories on career transitions, and a networking showcase featuring a range of organisations with an appetite for employing HDR candidates.

Further details for the 2025 Symposium will be made available as they are confirmed.
