Sara is a PhD Candidate at WRL and WRC. Her research focuses on the field of urban water engineering, particularly sustainable infrastructure practices. Sara’s primary objective is to employ the potential of natural systems, as innovative solutions to address pollutants commonly found in urban greywater. Ultimately, her research aims to enable the sustainable reuse of greywater resources. 

Sara has attained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Natural Resources Engineering, as well as a Master's of Philosophy degree in Environmental Sciences. In recognition of her academic and research achievements, Sara was honoured with a scholarship from the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) in November 2022. 

Sara is continually working to discover inventive methods for applying her wide range of skills to investigate novel approaches for addressing scientific challenges within the field of water engineering.
