AGSM @ UNSW Business School鈥檚 fully online MBAX has ranked 4th in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) 2021 Global Online MBA rankings. AGSM is the top ranked Australian management school to feature in the influential global rankings.

QS ranked online MBA programs from 57 global management schools in ten countries and interviewed nearly 38,000 employers for the rankings survey. Global Online MBA programs are then ranked across four key indicators: Faculty and Teaching (35%); Employability (30%), Class Profile (30%) and Class Experience (5%). AGSM ranked significantly above the global average on all four indicators.

鈥淭he AGSM MBAX has once again been recognised as one of the top ranked Online MBAs in the world,鈥 said Professor Nick Wailes, AGSM Director and Deputy Dean, UNSW Business School.听

鈥淥ur Programs are designed and facilitated by experienced academics and leading industry practitioners who know how to ensure that students are successful in this mode of learning and are able to immediately apply what they learn in the program to their work,鈥 he said.听

鈥淲e are always changing and evolving this program. We are always looking for what problems need be solved and that helps us proactively collaborate with industry to ensure our programs equip leaders to make an impact in their organisations.鈥

Employability reflects 30% of the total ranking score and the AGSM MBAX scored 87.3 out of 100 on this metric (the global mean score is 46.6). It is calculated based on the results of the QS Global Employer Survey that asks employers across all sectors, types, and geographic regions take part including leading business school hiring companies such as McKinsey, Google, Siemens, Airbus, and many more.

鈥淭he confidence employers have in AGSM graduates indicates our programs are equipping leaders with the skills and confidence required to not only keep pace with progress 鈥 but to be prepared for the new world of hybrid work,鈥 Wailes said.

AGSM performed significantly above global averages across all indicators: Class Experience (77.8 vs global average 62.7); Faculty and Teaching (71.4 vs global average 53.2); Class Profile (74.9 vs global average 58.4).

鈥淎GSM is the only graduate management school in Australia to embed a program of Responsible Management across all our MBA programs. The aim of this initiative is to inform and inspire MBA students to become more responsible managers. MBA students are given the knowledge, skills and practice to help them manage responsibly and sustainably, a critical skill in today鈥檚 disrupted world,鈥 said Roberts.

Last year, AGSM ranked 4th (up from 6th in 2019) in the QS 2020 Online MBA Rankings.
