UNSW Business School has been ranked the best business school in Australia in the . The Rankings assess nearly 40 Australian Business Schools across three categories: career impact, reputation, and quality.

鈥淥ur mission is to make a difference and the result in the AFR Best Business School Rankings is a testament to the whole Business School community that strives to fulfill that mission,鈥 said Professor Chris Styles, Dean at UNSW Business School.听

鈥淚t鈥檚 well-deserved recognition of the quality and commitment of our students, staff, an engaged and mobilised community of over 100,000 global alumni, and the industry partners we continue to engage with through research and graduate employment,鈥 he said.

鈥淕uided by our Business Advisory Council made up of senior industry and government leaders, the Business School鈥檚 transformative education and high impact research helps our students and stakeholders find ways to create economic and societal value,鈥 he said.听

UNSW also ranked first in Career Impact, recognition of the successful career outcomes of Business School graduates who have access to a dedicated careers team.

鈥淭o keep up with the pace of change and the expectations of both students and employers, we are continuously updating our curriculum to include more focus on future-oriented topics including technology disruption, data-based decision making, cybersecurity and sustainability that are transforming business and operating models, regulations, and markets,鈥 said Professor Mark Uncles, Senior Deputy Dean Education & Student Experience.听

The Business School鈥檚 Career Accelerator program was created to ensure students have access to a range of services to support their career transitions and can apply these skills immediately to their work,鈥 he said.

Credited initiatives such as Work Integrated Learning are available to all Business School students, and includes working on co-designed, real-world projects from industry leaders such as Deloitte, Australian Red Cross, Microsoft, the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) and Salesforce.

This academic-industry collaboration is just one example of how the UNSW Business School is continuing to invest in the future workforce, with Work Integrated Learning made up of 20 different courses including internships with Business School alumni, group consulting projects with local and international partners, business practicums over several global destinations.听

The Business School also partners with industry to produce world-leading research.
