For the third consecutive year, UNSW Business School has ranked first in the AFR BOSS 2024 Best Business Schools Rankings released today.听

The rankings assess 36 Australian Business Schools across four categories: career outcomes, research, teaching, and reputation, and focus on overall excellence in the postgraduate business, management and commerce study areas. 听

鈥淥ur mission is to prepare the next generation of leaders to not only succeed but to make an impact and contribute to advancing economic and social prosperity,鈥 said Professor Frederik Anseel, Dean, UNSW Business School.听

鈥淭his result is earned by the people who make UNSW a great place to learn, teach, study, research, and collaborate, and the expansive reach of our engaged network, with nearly 122,000 alumni across 110 countries.听This network, alongside our partnerships with industry and research, reinforces our global impact,鈥 he said.

UNSW ranked first in the overall combined ranking, second for career impact, third for research, fourth for reputation and seventh for teaching.

Professor Karin Sanders, Senior Deputy Dean (Research & Enterprise), emphasised the School's commitment to pursue research ideas that have meaningful impact for industry and society.听

The impact of UNSW Business School research is amplified when we partner with other disciplines in UNSW,听such as Engineering, Medicine & Health and recently Science,听to address the crucial challenges faced by businesses today. In partnership with the Faculty of Science, we听undertook research听that demonstrates the contribution听Science makes to Business,听more than $350 million to the Australian economy and $2.2 billion to global GDP annually.听 听

Professor Paul Andon, Senior Deputy Dean (Education and Student Experience) highlights the importance of hands-on learning experiences in shaping students' career readiness.
