The UNSW Judith Neilson Chair of Contemporary Art is delighted to welcome聽Professor Frank Vigneron, an eminent scholar in Chinese art history and comparative aesthetics, as a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the School of Art & Design, UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture.

Professor Vigneron, Chair of the Fine Arts Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), is globally acclaimed for his extensive research on Chinese painting from the 18th century onwards and his critical engagement with contemporary Chinese art in a global context.

During his tenure at UNSW, Professor Vigneron will actively contribute to the聽Judith Neilson Chair of Contemporary Art聽by collaborating with faculty members on research projects, fostering international research networks, supporting postgraduate research, and engaging in public advocacy.
