I completed my previous studies at Queen's University, Belfast. My previous work primarily focused on the impacts of anthropogenic noise pollution which eventually led me to use meta-science. Now I am using meta-science to understand the impacts of chemical pesticides on human and environmental health.

笔谤辞箩别肠迟:听Sixty years since Silent Spring: Gaps, biases and limitations in the pesticide literature.

Supervised by:聽Shinichi Nakagawa, Malgorzata Lagisz. and Russell Bonduriansky

Project Description:聽My PhD primarily aims to investigate the impacts of chemical pesticides impact the planet. I use research synthesis as a method to describe gaps in our understanding and potential research biases. Through research synthesis, I aim to provide a holistic understanding of the pesticide literature and advance our understanding of the impacts pesticides are having on the environment. Additionally, I am aiming to develop research synthesis guidelines and appraisal tools which will improve research conduct, reporting, and rigor in environmental sciences.
