I am an ecologist passionate about unraveling the interconnectedness within and across diverse ecosystems. With honours in Environmental Science and Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, I focused on marine biology, forest ecology, and geospatial information science and technology.

My research experience spans phytoplankton lipidomics, eDNA, aquatic invasive species, wildfire severity mapping, and forest management. I love exploring our terrestrial and marine ecosystems and get excited about teaching, scuba diving, and climbing.

Supervised by:聽Adriana Verges, Mariana Mayer-Pinto, Ezequiel Marzinelli

Project Description:聽My PhD focuses on developing best-practise methods for restoring and future-proofing endangered meadows of the seagrass Posidonia australis. I aim to explore the genetic diversity and structure of Posidonia meadows, the host-genotype and microbiome associations, as well as the influences of environmental stressors on microbial communities. I hope to contribute to the ongoing efforts to restore and protect our marine ecosystems.
