笔谤辞箩别肠迟:听The behavioural ecology of the eastern grey kangaroo, Macropus giganteus.

Supervised by:聽Terry Ord (Primary), Katherine Moseby (Secondary)

Project Description:聽Eastern grey kangaroos are highly gregarious animals that exhibit extremely social behaviour. As kangaroos occupy vastly different habitats across the country and are submitted to different levels of human exposure, the literature on kangaroo behaviour is far from complete. Studies of kangaroo behaviour in all habitats and environmental conditions are needed so that we can notice trends that might positively or negatively affect this iconic animal. My research aims to shed light on how the social behaviour of eastern grey kangaroos is affected by environmental and social pressures such as food availability, population size, sexual coercion and impact with humans.
