Abstract
In their 2022 paper New partition identities from $C^{(1)}_{\ell}$-modules, Capparelli, Meurman, Primc and Primc conjectured two beautiful infinite families of identities for coloured partitions. In this talk I will try to explain what makes these conjectures so remarkable and exciting, and why a proof is unlikely to be found any time soon.
