Dr Henry Kha is Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of New South Wales. He is the Vice-President of the Australian and New Zealand Law and History Society. His main research interest is in all aspects of family law from both a legal historical and contemporary perspective. Henry was previously Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University, Lecturer at the University of Auckland, and Tutor at the University of Queensland.

Henry has published two books with Routledge: a monograph听A History of Divorce Law: Reform in England from the Victorian to Interwar Years and a co-edited bookTeaching Family Law: Reflections on Pedagogy and Practice.听He is an Australian National Rapporteur to the International Academy of Comparative Law. Henry is working on Australian legal history projects on marriage and divorce laws supported by the Francis Forbes Society.

Henry completed his PhD from the University of Queensland on 鈥淭he Reform of English Divorce Law: 1857鈥1937鈥 with a University of Queensland Research Scholarship. He graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Juris Doctor and was cited in the Dean鈥檚 List for Excellence in Academic Performance. He also graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) (Honours) in Chinese studies and history and was awarded the University of Sydney Entry Scholarship.

Henry was a legal associate in the Family Court of Australia. He has a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Henry is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.听He has made media appearances to discuss various family law topics.
