I am an Associate Professor in the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Before joining UNSW, IÌýwas an assistant professor of finance at the Hong Kong University of Science of Technology. MyÌýresearch is primarily in corporate finance, with aÌýfocus on corporate governance and compensation of executives and employees. I have taught courses in undergraduate programs, MBA, other Masters programs, and doctoral programs. I received myÌýPh.D. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. I have published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. I have also won several competitive research grants and receivedÌýthe best paper awards at various conferences.
