Uday has implemented various public health programs and conducted research in Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Australia. He has experience working with development partners such as USAID, UNAIDS and IOM. Currently, Uday holds a position of Research Fellow ( Implementation Science) at National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Australian National University.听
Uday鈥檚 research has two major strands: assessing health problems and implementing co-designed solutions to address those problems. He is particularly interested in a multidisciplinary research collaboration that can comprehensively address the multifaceted needs of the people. His research interests include:
1.听Prevention and management of chronic disease via community and primary care approaches
2. Co-design and Implementation science
3. Addressing health inequality, including interventions to improve the health status of disadvantaged groups, including older adults, and
4. Evidence based policy, advocacy and practice.
