Xiaoyu Ai received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering at Xidian University, China in 2013 and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Kensington) in 2015. He started his PhD programme in 2017 in telecommunications at the same school at UNSW Kensington and his thesis topic is about the channel coding for satellite-based quantum key distribution systems. Currently, his research focuses are:
