ARTIST STATEMENT

This video collage merges the affinity with fabric, representing cultural heritage and black female identity, with the feeling of ‘home’. The protagonists of the sound are CNC router, metal hammer, ambos and cutting machine, wood chisel and mallet, saw and wood plane.

Born in Switzerland, raised by a Kenyan mother and recently found my way to Australia.
