STUDENT'S ARTWORK

ARTIST STATEMENT

I wanted to make a short trailer about a fictional action movie that contained a gutsy main hero present in surviving exciting adventures and defeating evil masterminds. The main process of making the film involved building the scene with static props, then animating the main characters in a specific scene, then adding background details such as a car crash or dust particles. The computer screen required the use of Blender for advanced texture manipulation and Premiere Pro for image processing.

Artwork medium: Source Film Maker, Blender, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro

ARTIST INTRODUCTION

Hello, my name is Damon Khor Crowley and I am a Software Engineering student at UNSW. In my spare time, I like to animate using open-source software such as Source Film Maker and more recently, Blender. I have been casually animating since late 2021 and mainly use models and materials by Valve Corporation, specifically those from the game "Team Fortress 2". I also have experience using a handful of Adobe products.
