STUDENT'S ARTWORK

ARTIST STATEMENT

The theme I chose for my work is Transformation. I was most interested in the movement of objects growing and changing. And I thought that Transformation could best express the process of growth or change. My work expressed the growth process of plants with the theme of Transformation. The process of changing from a seed to a flower had a form that was most suitable for expressing with the material of clay. The story of a seed wittily expresses the story of a seed that fell somewhere, absorbing water and nutrients, and receiving pollen that flew in, and blooming into a flower.

Artwork medium: Clay stop motion animation
