Artwork title: Melting Harmony

Whenever we are forced to make a choice between stable and new, we still embark on an adventure even tho we know we will make mistakes. This work asks the question to the audience that 'Have we never been drawn to anything stimulating and challenging?’. It represents the repetition of being drawn into and out of the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary. It expresses a turbulent psychology through the distortion of nature.

Artwork title: The Moment of Truth

I defined 'The Moment of Truth' as a moment when you have to face a certain reality. If you only possess glasses, you can access any information such as weather forecasts via a hologram in the world of this video. It is even possible to see a virtual chair that does not exist in the real world. With a few touches, you can get rid of holograms and be back to reality.

Artwork title: Uncertainty

'Uncertainty' is a video that depicts my current uncertainty about the future. When I was a child, I dreamed a lot. There was no limit of imagination to what I could be. In addition, the spectrum of dreams was also broad. My dreams sometimes turned to art, occasionally to science, sometimes to exercise, freely. As I approached the time when I was supposed to move toward society, I became increasingly uncertain of where I stood in relation to it. In order to soothe this unstable thought and nervous mind, as well as appeal to the audience, I ended the story a little dark but hopeful.

Hi, I'm Hannah Kook currently studying Media Arts and focusing on Visual Effects and Moving Image. I have a deep respect for the power of visual expression as well as its capacity to convey ideas, emotions, and stories. There are many new things I am attempting and I am striving to improve myself.
