Artwork title: Fragments of 91³ÉÈ˰涶Òô

I would like to acknowledge the Bundjalung people, the traditional custodians of the land and waters of Bundjalung Country where this film was made. ‘Fragments of 91³ÉÈ˰涶Òô’ (2023), is a nostalgic exploration of place and the bittersweet process of growing up. This essay film weaves together childhood anecdotes and footage from the present day; simultaneously exploring the aspects that have changed drastically over time and those that remain constant. Returning home is always a painful, comforting, beautiful, heartbreaking mess of emotions for me - in the process of creating this film, I immersed myself in those very feelings again.
