Ignite the Spark is returning in 2023 as a hybrid conference!

The theme of this year's Ignite the Spark conference will beÌýExcellence and Equity - Creating Opportunities.

The conference will run in a hybrid format; join usÌýin person at UNSW Kensington campusÌý´Ç°ùÌýlive stream online.ÌýSee ticket allocations to select either an on campus or online conference ticket.

The conferenceÌýfocuses on creating opportunities in the context of the classroom, whole school, communities of schools and beyond to support student learning. Researchers, teachers, leaders and other experts will contribute to the panel discussion and presentations.

Presentation topics include:

  • Creating opportunities for HPGS with disability – Stories and strategies
  • Supporting twice-exceptional students (i.e. gifted learners with a disability such as Autism Spectrum Disorder)
  • Differentiating an Artificial Intelligence (AI) curriculum for HPG students
  • Game design in HPGE classrooms
  • Cohesive practices and frameworks to support neurodivergent learners
