What forms do you need to fill in to make a pay claim for casual academic work (e.g. Lab demo, marking, exam invigilating, tutorial, lecture)?
Australian permanent residents
You need to ensure you have a Tax File Number before you can be paid for any work done in the School of EE&T. Â If you do not have a TFN, apply to the Australian Taxation Office for a Tax File Number.
If you have NOT worked as a casual academic in the School of EE&T before, and you are submitting your first claim, you need to fill in and submit the following forms:
- Tax File Number Declaration, to be completed via Faculty CASTLE administration systemÂ
- Casual Academic Employment Form HR63, to be completed via Faculty CASTLE administration system
- ³§³Ü²ú³¾¾±³ÙÌý once every two weeksÂ
If you have previously worked as a casual academic in EE&T and you are making your first claim for the current teaching session, you need to fill in and submit the following forms:
- Casual Academic Employment Form HR63, to be completed via Faculty CASTLE administration system
- Submit once every two weeks
If you have made claims in the current teaching session and you want to make a regular fortnightly claim,  you need to submit the Online Payment Timesheet once every two weeks.
If at any time you change your address or bank details, you need to update these details online via myUNSW
If your tax status changes at any time, you may need to submit a new TFN form
Non permanent Australian residents
If you are NOT an Australian Local Resident, please make sure that you have working permit in Australia, and fill out the same forms as above.Â
