Our Services

Kingsford Legal Centre specialises in discrimination law.? We provide discrimination law services across New South Wales including:

  • Advice and representation;
  • Education to community groups and other service providers about rights and obligations under anti-discrimination laws;
  • Law reform and policy advocacy, through submission to government, liaising with other community groups and through representation on committees.

We represent clients in conciliation conferences, court and tribunal proceedings which involve discrimination and human rights issues. These cases are run under both New South Wales and federal legislation.

We can also give advice about breaches of civil liberties and human rights abuses, particularly where the breach or abuse is addressed by international treaties and conventions to which Australia is a party.
