For Undergraduate and JD students applying to commence Practical Legal Training (early start PLT) whilst still enrolled in their LLB/JD and require confirmation of their current enrolment (Dean’s certificate). The Dean’s certificate provided will accompany your application for early start PLT approval to be submitted to the Legal Profession Admissions Board (LPAB).

For PLT graduates who have completed their program in an earlier intensive teaching period and therefore require their completion letter early to assist with applying for Admission to the LPAB. NB: University completion letters are prepared at the end of each term only, so if you require a completion letter early, .

For UNSW Law & Justice Graduates who are applying for Admission as a Lawyer in another state and require a letter that outlines the completed Priestley 11 courses undertaken at UNSW. 

If you are applying for Admission as a Lawyer in NSW, you do not require this letter as your original academic transcript will be sufficient.

For UNSW Law & Justice Undergraduate and JD graduates who are applying for Admission to the Singapore Ministry of Law and require a letter confirming that either the Law dual combined degree or the JD covers the same course requirements with that of a single Law degree.

For UNSW Law & Justice graduates who require a letter confirming their WAM and rank within their graduating cohort.

Results confirming overall ranking in a graduating cohort cannot be released until the processing of relevant awards is completed.  Please allow 5-6 weeks after the  for your term. 

For UNSW Law & Justice graduates who applying for admission to the New York Bar and need the Nucleus Student Hub to complete their New York Bar application form, confirming details such as the date of commencement and completion of their program and disclosure of misconduct.
