The Industry Advisory Committee provides leadership and insights regarding the priorities and needs of companies across all sectors of the economy, and the status of current decarbonisation innovation processes within industry. Peak bodies represented on the Committee collectively represent hundreds of major companies and are driving significant industrial decarbonisation initiatives.

Previously Romilly was CEO Infrastructure Australia (IA), where she was responsible for overseeing IA鈥檚 critical role in helping governments prioritise projects and reforms that best serve our communities.

Before joining Infrastructure Australia, Ms Madew was CEO of Green Building Council of Australia for 13 years. In acknowledgment of her contribution to Australia鈥檚 sustainable building movement, Ms Madew was awarded an Order of Australia in 2019.

In her capacity as CEO of Engineers Australia, she sits on the STEM Champions of Change committee. She is also currently a Member of the Australian Academy of Technology & Engineering (ATSE) Infrastructure Forum; Director Placemaking NSW Board; Director Sydney Olympic Park Authority; Independent Chair Currawong State Park Advisory Board (NSW); Federal Government appointee on the聽 Circular Economy Ministerial Advisory Group, G20 EMPOWER - Empowerment and Progression of Women's Economic Representation, Urban Policy Consultation Network;聽 Member National Women in Transport CEO Advisory Group; Member UK Institution of Civil Engineers Enabling Better Infrastructure (EBI) Steering Group and Director of Minerva Network (supporting Australia鈥檚 elite sportswomen).

Romilly is an active surf life saver.鈥 She was previously President of Bilgola SLSC, is a Patrol Captain at Bilgola SLSC and a Duty Officer for Surf Lifesaving Sydney Northern Beaches Branch.

Currently Chief Executive of Consult Australia the sole association dedicated to the success of consulting businesses in design, advisory and engineering Jonathan draws on diverse experience across the not-for-profit and public sectors in Australia and the UK, encompassing strategy, public affairs, government relations, and program leadership.聽

Previous roles include Director of Policy with Infrastructure Australia, Head of Public Affairs and Membership with the Green Building Council of Australia and senior roles in the UK Financial Services Authority. He is a Director on the Board of the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council, Interim Chair of the Eidos Institute.

Jonathan has a deep understanding of how to drive change, influence and support collaboration for organisational success. He has a Master of International Studies from the University of Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.聽聽

Christina Tonkin is the Managing Director, Corporate Finance for Institutional Banking at ANZ.

Corporate Finance comprises ANZ鈥檚 specialised financing activities in Project & Export Finance; Asset Finance; Leveraged Finance; Loans Agency & Debt Execution; Loan Product Governance & Analytics; Loan Underwriting & Syndications; Sustainable Finance and Environmental Markets. Corporate Finance also 鈥渉ouses鈥 the Relationship Coverage teams for our global Resources, Energy & Infrastructure customers.

Christina has more than 30 years of experience in specialised finance and loan syndications. Since joining ANZ in 2005 from Westpac Banking Corporation, she has held several roles within the Institutional Banking loans business. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology and Geophysics from Sydney University. She is Vice President on the Executive Committee for Women in Banking & Finance, a former Vice President and Director of the National Stroke Foundation and a member of Chief Executive Women.

Christina has also recently joined the Advisory Board of the Australian Circular Economy Hub whose mission is to advance the development of a carbon neutral and circular economy in Australia and APAC.

Darryl is responsible for leading Lendlease鈥檚 decarbonisation, climate risk, nature and environmental strategy. Most recently Darryl has led the development of Lendlease鈥檚 Scope 3 Emissions Protocol, climate risk assessment process, emissions forecasting and budgeting model, carbon offset procurement strategy and collaborated on Lendlease鈥檚 first Sustainability Green Bond Impact Report.

During his time at Lendlease, Darryl has been instrumental in developing the in-house Life Cycle Assessment capability. He has been responsible for managing collaborating with project teams and supply chain partners to deliver Lendlease鈥檚 embodied carbon reduction commitment for the Barangaroo South waterfront urban renewal project in Sydney.

Darryl joined Lendlease in 2007 and is currently Head of Environmental Sustainability. An environmental scientist, Darryl has 20 years鈥 experience in sustainability across corporate, consulting, and regulatory settings.

A property professional with a passion for sustainability, Davina has led the Green Building Council of Australia since 2019. As a qualified engineer, Davina worked on large-scale construction projects in Sydney and London, and spent nearly a year building an award-winning school in the Himalayas.鈥

Davina devoted a decade to driving sustainability at one of Australia鈥檚 largest diversified property companies, Stockland, which culminated in Stockland鈥檚 recognition as the world鈥檚 most sustainable property company. Now leading a member organisation with 550-plus members with a combined value of $46 billion, Davina brings together practical knowledge, on-the-ground experience and a systematic approach to champion leadership in sustainable design and construction.鈥

Davina works with government and industry to advocate for supportive policy and transform complex supply chains. Building on a strong legacy of leadership, Davina is elevating the GBCA鈥檚 reach and impact into new markets.

Davina is on the Board of Evolve Housing and the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council, as well as Chairing the Sustainable Procurement Roundtable for the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre. The property industry has recognised Davina鈥檚 leadership with multiple awards.聽

Alison鈥檚 experience encompasses public, private and non-profit organisations including Standards Australia, Sydney Water and NSW Health. Her work has seen her serve on several national policy and technical committees for the built environment. She is a Board member for Partner Housing Australasia and currently sits on a number of committees including the Residential Energy Efficiency Disclosure Initiative Governance Forum, NSW Government Clean Technology Technical Review Committee and national Urban Policy Forum.聽

Shay Chalmers is an experienced Engineering and Manufacturing Executive. Shay possesses a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master鈥檚 Degree in Engineering Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Shay is currently the CEO of a medium sized manufacturing firm, GLT, where she leads a team redefining semi-trailers through innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring a new standard in trailer sustainability and performance.

Rowena was appointed ASM Chief Executive Officer in July 2022 having joined the company in July 2021 as Chief Operating Officer. She has over 30 years鈥 experience in the mining and minerals processing sector, including in a range of senior roles in strategy, operations and commercial. Prior to joining ASM, Rowena was Chief Sustainability Officer at South32, accountable for sustainability strategy, risk management and HSE business processes. Other past roles include Vice President Supply at South32, General Manager BHP鈥檚 Kwinana Nickel Refinery, and operational leadership roles within Rio Tinto鈥檚 aluminium smelting business.
