Runway incursions (RI) continue to present as a safety risk in aviation.

To prevent these, researchers at UNSW aim to study the situations and circumstances in which they occur, as well as situations where they do not. Therefore, we would like to hear from pilots and ATC to discuss their experiences. You do not need to have been involved in a RI to participate as these experiences provide us valuable information about prevention.

Participation includes an online 30-minute interview to understand RI and you will be compesated with a $25 Coles Group & Myer gift voucher.

Eligibility

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are a pilot or licensed Air Traffic Controller (ATC)
