Our research is divided into three clusters. Each cluster has different strengths.

Genomics and Bioinformatics

We support forward-thinking research by focusing on the key areas of聽gene regulation,聽systems biology聽and聽neurogenomics; specifically, the study of human disease, gene expression, proteomics, biological systems and their functions, and neurobiology from a genomic perspective.聽

Microbiology and Microbiomes

With a passion for discovery, our research centres on synthetic biology and metabolism and molecular cell biology. We incorporate molecular genetics, stem cell biology, microscopy and more to answer unsolved biological questions and train the next generation of life scientists.

Molecular and Cell Biology
