This project aimed to understand the social support experiences of Chinese families with children with disability in Sydney, Beijing, New York City and Taipei. The project conducted interviews with Chinese parents about their expectations, experiences and reflections on seeking, receiving and organising social supports. Findings of this project will contribute to the knowledge about culturally responsive disability support and generate implications for policies and support services for people with disability from diverse cultural backgrounds.
